The rain that has mostly stayed to the north of Houston throughout the day on Saturday will push across the metro overnight and into the early morning hours, producing heavy rains and localized street flooding through the predawn timeframe. Clouds will linger through most of the day on Sunday behind the front, though breaks will become more common toward sunset. Expect high temps remaining in the mid 60s. Mostly sunny skies will allow temps to warm back into the 70s to start the work week, with humidity returning by midweek, with a few clouds and highs in the lower 80s.
